I recently had the honor of joining Professor R. Edward Freeman, a distinguished professor at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and the father of Stakeholder Theory, on The Stakeholder Podcast. Our conversation took us through my unorthodox career path.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across a spectrum of sectors, from banking and government to consulting, fintech in Africa, and museum leadership in the United States. Today, my focus lies in AI governance, a field that sits at the intersection of technology, business ethics, and public trust. Each stage of my journey has offered unique insights and a chance to learn from remarkable individuals worldwide, who have continuously shaped my understanding of governance, leadership, and innovation.
I am sincerely grateful to Professor Freeman and his team for the thoughtful, engaging interview and for the opportunity to share my story. If you're interested in governance, stakeholder theory, or simply in navigating unconventional career paths, I invite you to listen to the full episode here.
