Plans & Specs.

We purchased our new bus on February 12, 2005. This is our third bus in roughly one year. Hopefully, the third time's a charm!

She is a 1962 GMC model 4106 highway parlor coach, and originally a Trailways bus for the Adirondack Transit/ Trailways authority. The man whom we purchased the bus personally converted it... way back in 1985. He and his wife lived in it full-time for three years, then moved into town and the bus had largely sat ever since.

Consequently, it needed some work to get it roadworthy again. We did, however, buy it for a very nice price. We believe that the time and money involved in getting it ready for the road was much, much less than converting our previous bus into an RV.
